Lord, You are stunning. Today You gave me something I’d longed for and forgotten. Something I’d seen, admired and longed to do…to help people. The thought flitted across my mind and seeded a hope. I didn’t even voice it at the time. I just admired, appreciated, hoped…
But You knew.
You heard what I hadn’t spoken, what my heart had hovered over and held secret. A fleeting thought of possibility in a mind willing to wait, learn and consider. A thought. A wish… A dream?
And then You blessed me. You took the thought, the seed of wondering and turned it into a reality. So unexpectedly. So stunning it took me hours before I put the pieces together.
You did this, Lord. You. For me.
Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. — Ephesians 3:20-21 (ESV)
